1. How do I determine which card is right for me?
Phonecardsplus.ca offers calling cards to all countries. To determine which card is right for you, select the country you will be calling and our website will let you know which cards are good for your destination.

If you are a new customer, you may be called by our customer support team to verify your order.

 

2. Why must you call to verify my order?
At Phonecardsplus.ca, confirming your order is our way of ensuring consumer protection against credit card fraud. Our highly-trained customer service representatives inspect and verify all new orders to guarantee your online security. All fraudulent orders are reported to the appropriate authorities.

 

3. What is Calling Card?
A prepaid calling card or phone card is defined as telecommunication credit card with an Identification Number for using a pre-selected long distance carrier.

 

4. Why use Calling Card?
Prepaid long distance calling cards will allow you to call your destination at bargain prices. You can call from almost anywhere: Pay phones, Office Phone, Cell Phone, even from outside Canada. Sold in denominations of $2.5, $5, $10 and $20, calling cards are very convenient. You don't need a phone number, address or credit history to buy a prepaid long-distance card. You don't have to deal with bills. If you don't like a calling card, simply try buying a different brand.

 

5. How do I use Calling Card?
Making the calls is easy. Just dial an access number, followed by a personal identification number (PIN), followed by the long-distance number you are trying to reach. Detailed dialing instructions will be emailed to you with the calling card PINs.

 

6. What is Connection fee?
Some calling cards have a connection fee. Each time your call is answered, depending on the card type, you may be charged a connection fee which will be deducted from the available minutes. In some cases, especially when you use a calling card to make one long call, connection fee cards may offer better savings than cards with no connection fee.

 

7. Is my online transaction secure?
Yes. All online transactions at Phonecardsplus.ca are secure, we are using Paypal for check out.This ensures that your credit card information is kept confidential and your order remains secure.

 

8. What do I do, If there is any problem with Calling Card?
Please contact customer service of the calling card provider. You can find the customer service phone number in the same e-mail with your PINs, or on our web site.

 

9. Do Calling Cards expire?
Most of the cards have expiry date, please check it before buying the card.

 

10. Any Hidden Charges?
Most of the phone cards with the lowest rates on the Canadian and US markets do not provide the exact rates and minutes as posted. These cards deduct per-call service fee or other hidden charges (network fee, administration fee, etc.) from the card remaining balance.

 

11. Do I need to enable cookies on my computer in order to use Phonecardsplus.ca?
Yes. The cookies function must be enabled on your computer in order for you to place an order on Phonecardsplus.ca. To enable cookies on your computer:

  • Go to Tools on the Toolbar at the top of your screen
  • Select Internet Options
  • Click on the Security tab
  • Select Default Level
  • Should automatically default to "Medium" level
  • Hit Apply

Cookies should then be enabled on your computer and you should be able to proceed with your Phonecardsplus.ca order.

 

12. Can I use my prepaid card from a cellular phone?
Yes. You can use your calling card to call internationally from any cellular phone that is capable of calling a toll-free number. Regular airtime charges will apply as per your contract with your cellular provider.

 

13. Can I use my card to call other countries other than I specifically bought my card for?
Yes. You can use your calling card to call other international destinations, but your rates will vary.

1. What is Canadian mobile top up?
Canadian mobile top up is a prepaid [pay as you talk] voucher for Canadian mobiles. It normally allows a maximum talking minutes per 30 days period with fixed per minute rate.

 

2. Do I need to have an account in order to use a Canadian mobile top up?
Yes. To activate or charge a Canadian mobile top up voucher you first activate an account with the phone service provider. If you do not already have account please contact the phone company of your choice and open an account.

 

3. How can I activate or charge a Canadian mobile top up voucher to my Cell Phone?
Call the activation access number (number will be provided), enter your password and next enter your recharge PIN. Complete instructions will be provided after purchase for each product.

 

4. Do I pay extra fee for purchasing a Canadian mobile top up?
No. There will be no extra fee charged; however, you pay tax on face value of the voucher.

 

5. My purchased PIN does not charge to my account. What should I do?
First, make sure you have purchased the right pin for the service you are using. Second, call your phone service provider's customer service for assistance. If your issue is not resolved, send us an email at support@Phonecardsplus.ca, provide us the pin number, name of the product and date of the purchase. We will re-examine the PIN and will inform you.

 

6. I purchased top up voucher from a different service provider by mistake. Can I return or exchange the PIN?.
Unless the PIN digits are wrong, there will be no refund or exchange.

 

7. Does the Canadian mobile top up vouchers expire before credit is completely used?
Yes. Depending on the phone service provider's policy most top up vouchers will expire after 30 days and some after 365 days even if credit is not fully consumed.

1 Touch Dialing means dialing your destination number through a local number provided. By dialing the local number, system will automatically dial your assigned destination number. To set up 1 Touch Dialing with Pinless plans, you need to login to your account at individual Pinless plans websites and select 1 Touch Dialing from the Module Menu. 8. What is Speed Dial and how does it work with Pinless plans?
Speed Dial is a function that stores your phone numbers in its memory by assigning special number(s). To set up your speed dial number(s) with Pinless plans, you need to login to your account at individual Pinless plans websites and select Speed Dial from the Module Menu. 9. Do I have to cancel any existing services before my Pinless plans account is activated?
No, since you dial to the local access number, this service becomes totally apart from your long distance service provider. Once you dialed the local access number, the system recognizes your phone number and validates your account for making a long distance call.

 

10. Does my Pinless plan account balance ever expire?
Pinless plans such as Hello Bolo and Direct Dial do not expire. However, unlimited plans do expire after 30 days.

 

11. Can I use my Pinless plan account from outside GTA (Greater Toronto Area)?
Yes, you can. Please check the local access number listings.

13. Do I get a bill at the end of the month?
Since Pinless plan is a prepaid service, you will not receive any bill. However, you can view your account balance and call details online on the website 24/7.

14. Can I use Pinless plans service from my cellular phone?
Absolutely, you can use all Pinless plan services from your cellular phone. You will still be charged your usual air time and roaming charges by your service provider as per individual plan.

15. Are there any charges such as monthly fee, connection fee, maintenance fee or minimum charges?
Pinless plans accounts such as Hello Bolo and Direct Dial do not have monthly fee, connection fee, maintenance fee or minimum charges. However, unlimited plans have one time activation fee.

16. What is the difference between rest of PINless plans and unlimited plans?
Unlimited Plans have many features and benefits of other PINless plans. But it has a maximum minutes usage allowance per month, has an expiry date and an activation fee.
